Prostate Biopsy Services for Ontario Residents

Biopsy needles are inserted in the perineal region located below the scrotum and above the anal region.
This AVOIDS the risk of infection compared to conventional transrectal biopsy techniques where the needle is inserted through the rectal wall.
Our TRUE FUSION System is one of the MOST ACCURATE systems that overlay MRI images over real-time Ultrasound.
We use TRUE Fusion techniques and NOT COGNITIVE Fusion techniques. TRUE Fusion provides the most accuracy.
We use the FOCALBX Fusion system – one of the most advanced systems available to date.
We use COMPLETE SEDATION so you do not have to feel the pain of a biopsy.
Your biopsy samples will be examined by a University-based Pathologist who specializes in prostate cancer interpretation. There can be significant variability in interpreting the aggressiveness of prostate cancer from those who do not specialize in prostate cancer.
All prostate biopsy programs are NOT the same.  Prostaterisk.ca provides the most state-of-the-art technique and interpretation of your prostate samples.
